Post by cabou »

it's upcoming, it's named "bag of bones" and the first single really rocks !
(as usual with this amazingly talented group)

http://www.europetheband.com/

their precedent album "Last Look at Eden" (2009) was also a masterpiece !

well rock amateurs go an check that !

and sorry for the off topic, but it's the lounge section here, isn't it ?

you're probably right, the Final coutdown was made to "touch" the masses
but since then Europe released several jewels that sadly went totally unnoticed due to poor communiction means.

Even I, "first hour fan" missed two albums ine 2004 and 2006 thinking Europe retired !

tell me what you think of this...

I guess this is what you wanted to do... :P

I know the song. It's nice... ^^

I'm not the rock type of guy though. So if I have the choice, I will listen to things like M83, The Japanese Popstars, Yoko Kanno, Buckfunk 3000 aka Si Begg, Orbital, The Orb, Moby, Aril Brikha, Grum, Fatboy Slim, She, The Future Sound of London, some early 2000 techno...

I do love the Foo Fighters though. They are awesomeness...

But you see it's easy to overlook a new Europe album.

Especially since noone seems to know they make music anymore...

I rarely listen to rock music outside of the 1970s. Led Zeppelin's first album still amazes, lots of really good playing and techniques originated on that album which have continued to be imitated for the last 4 decades.

They couldn't keep it up for their entire career, but the guitar tone, Robert Plant's voice, the drumming and bass, and the structure of this song are all perfect and among the best examples of hard rock as far as I'm concerned.
