The Morning After The Night Before.

Post by Neohound »

I was on the homebrew last night. And no, I'm not saying I spent my time on Feet Of Fury and Fast Striker, I'm referring to my exhaustive session of drinking home brewed English ale. Thick, brown, and independently tested at 5.2% alc content, and complete with an inch of sediment in each pint, this brew has left me feeling somewhat poorly this morning.

So what to do ? I've already downed two double Lavazza espressos, a pint of water and a round of toast plus a couple of paracetamols. Now in my younger days I would have set off to the pub and had a 'hair of the dog', but nowadays I'm thinking I'll stay in my dressing gown and slippers, pull up the sofa, and wrap myself in a warm blanket.

So what DC games should I play to get me through the afternoon, and the worst of my hangover ? Any suggestions are welcome.

Oh right, I don't think that would have occurred to me . But yeah, good idea ! I was kinda thinking along the lines of the original Aero Dancing, you know, just flying around a vast blue sky. But then I remembered the aerobatic part, and was concerned that I might projectile-vomit over the cat if I got into a tailspin :?

Play some Cosmic Smash or some Virtua Tennis 2.

Cosmic Smash, with it's monotone commentary.....yeah, could be good. I'm about at the stage where moving slightly faster than a snail is possible without collapsing. Watching the ball bouncing around would have been a little too much to handle an hour or two ago.

Gauntlet and Cosmic Smash it is then !

Actually, I think Shenmue would be good ! Maybe just loitering outside the shops in Dobuita, buying hundreds of capsule toys and cans of pop. I've got an early save file from a few weeks ago, I'll try and find it. I wonder if I can still remember how to do the money trick - that would be helpful :)

Shenmue, CS, Gauntlet.......not sure I'll be able to get through much more this evening. Whatever, I'm starting to brighten up and looking forward to some chilled out DC gaming.
