Random Restart for the first time?

Hey!
I have had my Dreamcast for about 2 weeks. I have just been playing Half Life 1 (it was burnt at x8) and it just randomly restarted for the first time ever. Is this just a bug in the game causing it to crash? Do I need to buy a game my self to test it to find out?
Any ideas?

Try a retail disc and see if the problems persists. If it does, the fix is rather easy most of the times.

Maybe you are getting corrosion on the pins of your power supply? The fix is pretty simple as CD AGES said.

I used to wipe the laser with a cloth and etanol! Dont know if its good for the dreamcast, but it got better of it:)
