It's a lot easier to use ImgBurn with the Padus DiscJuggler .CDI Plugin:
http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=Download
No fiddling with configurations and options, like you have to do in Alcohol or DiscJuggler.
Download ImgBurn and install, download the Padus .CDI plugin (bottom of the ImgBurn downloads page) and extract the files to the ImgBurn install folder.
Run ImgBurn and select "Copy to Disc", open .cdi and burn!
Burning at half of the speed of you drive's speed (i usually burn at x16 though without any problem so far - the rule is that lots of tiny files require a lower burn speed, while bigger and fewer files don't), and using good quality discs is recommended - Taiyo Yuden/JVC and Verbatim AZO CD-Rs are the best (don't use Verbatim "Extra Protection" CD-Rs because those are made by Moser Baer India and are not as good as the AZO ones), be it for 80min or 90min CD-Rs.
If you need 99min CD-Rs, you can't really find good quality media as these discs are somewhat unstable and incompatible with the majority of drives, and so don't obey the international standards, so you are forced to use lesser media.
If you are in Europe you can get Media-Range 99min CD-Rs from Nierle.de, and from the US people have been using Banana Media CD-Rs ordered though Deal Extreme, which are know to be very crappy but eventually can get the work done (attention that sometimes people receive non-working discs from a faulty lot).

Re: play mil cds aka burned games and new games?
I have a bunch of 900mb mediarange CD-R discs. When I try to load games from them, in the DC, the console start giving of weird sounds from the disc tray and nothing happens. I have a PAL Dreamcast. Any idea if this is fixable?Raen wrote:It's a lot easier to use ImgBurn with the Padus DiscJuggler .CDI Plugin:
