Does Dreamcall from DC-DC still work?

Hey everybody! So I've been messing around in planetweb, and I just now noticed the dreamcall function. I'm guessing it probably doesn't work to call physical phone lines anymore, especially via the netopia method, but is there a chance that DC users could call one another with it?

Thanks for reading this, I'm really curious as to whether or not the feature can still be used anymore.

I tried to get this working a few years ago with Planetweb 2.6 iirc. I think we were both on Windows 98 PC-DC at the time. SMiTH was the other one testing with me, we couldn't get the voip to connect. I believe more testing should be done though.

Which planetweb do you have?

Could it be that you need that void server software that is required for planet ring?
