What am i doing wrong?

Hi,
I downloaded the 248 dreamcast collection... When i went and unrared the files, the files are .001, .002 files types and so on and so on... Do i burn these files directly to the disc? I am new to this and am very confused.

go download "7zip" select all the files in the group at once and extract to /

You shouldn't even have to do that. It should work just by opening up the .001 file.

my computer does not see the .001 file as any file type... it asks me for a program as the web does not know the file type as well... is this what the 7zip is for?

yeah 7zip is a better winrar. better because it is more powerful faster and free.
