Converting .lcd animation .to vmi+.vms?
I have some animations i made a while ago but the program saved them as an lcd file and to save to the actual vmu it needs proper vmi+vms files i guess. Anybody know how to go about doing that?

Re: Converting .lcd animation .to vmi+.vms?
I have to say that I do not have any experience converting .lcd animations however, after searching quite a bit I was able to come up with this site: http://www.deco.franken.de/myfiles/myfiles.html
Part way down there is an app called "LCD Animation Converter v1.0". It is an old .com program and I was able to run it in dosbox. Unfortunately it looks like it only creates the .vms file so you will need a way to make the .vmi to go with it. I know this isn't a complete solution but hopefully you can do something with it.
Edit: Okay, so I started obsessing over it and I got it working! You will also need to download the "dci_vmi" program from the same link as before. This will create a .vmi file and a .dci file to go along with the .vms file previously created. When you run the program be sure to tell it that it is a game file and not data. Then viola your vmi file is created and ready to transfer to vmu. Once again I had to run all of this in dosbox. I know the info here is kinda disjointed but if you have trouble let me know.
Here is proof. A simple animation I created to test it out:
