Hey guys! I have a Zoom3095 USB Modem and an rev. A modem on my NTSC-U Dreamcast.
My question is, will I need to build a line voltage simulator? I searched around and couldn't find a straight answer, getting everything set up on the PC side of things is a pretty long process, and I won't be able to accurately troubleshoot connection issues if I do need to build one, but at the same time, I don't want to go out and buy all the parts to build one if I don't have to (it's no trouble, really, just an extra step that I'd like to avoid if possible.)
Could anyone with a similar setup to mine help me out? :c. Thanks for your time, regardless!
Do I need a line voltage simulator?

Re: Do I need a line voltage simulator?
I would personally try it without one first so that you would know if would work out, but I have also heard that regardless of modem revision you still need to have a line voltage simulator.
