Re: Guide: Extracting And Recompiling CDI Images
Please correct me if I am doing wrong. I don't see a sign of 1st_read.bin inside track01.bin. I hope you won't mind about the pictures.

What's your end goal?
Also if you're working with a GDI just use gdi_explorer (by Japanese_cake, Google it)
Also congrats on dumping a disc!! Always glad to see more people doing it. If you have time and patience it might be worth checking redump and dumpcast (possibly trurip) to see if any of your discs could help towards preservation.

I dumped it twice. It shows me the same result. My goal is to create cdi with selfboot.

Well Sonic adventure won't fit without a ton of work on an 80min CD.
But just extract the game with gdi_explorer then do the needed "hacking" then look into the selfboot process (possibly family Guy kit)

Re: Guide: Extracting And Recompiling CDI Images
I already have the official Sonic Adventure cd. I don't need to burn another cd. I only want to make cdi with selfboot after I ripped the game from my official game cd.

Re: Guide: Extracting And Recompiling CDI Images
The retail game comes on a GD-ROM, which has a higher capacity than a CD-R. The game won't fit on a CD-R without shrinking the content somehow.
If you already own the GD-ROM, then why do you want to make a CDI? Either use the GD-ROM, or rip it to GDI format if you want to play it on GDEMU.
