Completely lost with Noctua fan mod

Hello,

I would like to install a Noctua Fan mod on my Dreamcast. I bought the console with no modifications and the only mod I installed so far is just the battery one. My Dreamcast is PAL version 1.

As I said I'm lost because on ebay Europe right now, there are only 2 sellers who sell the Noctua Fan mod kit (https://www.ebay.fr/itm/Dreamcast-Noctu ... Swa8NdbVxX) other seller: (https://www.ebay.fr/itm/Dreamcast-Noctu ... Sw3upddRfE). And both said that I may cut a small part from GD-ROM because it might won't fit. And I do not want to cut anything.

Actually I don't want to throw 20€ for nothing because both sellers don't accept return items.

I didn't have to cut anything on mine. But I do not recall who I ordered it from. I just figured that most are using the same plans for their 3d printer so they would all be the same. But I could be wrong.

I received my Noctua Fan mount ordered from Laser Bear itself. And yes I had to cut off a bit the optical block :



The fan is now mounted and works:





But opening the dick lid is harder than before.

Weird. I didn't cut mine. But oh well. Did it come with the new peice for the latch on the cover?
