GDmenu game art - can it be done for CDIs?

So I've managed to add artwork to every GDI game on my SD card.

But what about unlicensed CDI games? Can it be done? I haven't seen a CDI tutorial anywhere.

I easily add covers to gdi
I use dd and hex editor

for cdi need extract all files and build new image
for extract you can use GDROM Explorer
for build use bootdreams
for build with CDDA need mkisofs and mds4dc
