I think the biggest issue is finding the game as a 99min.cdi as you know most are made for a 80min.cdi
I believe any modern burner and modern software should pick it right up and run with it.
I haven't used this kind of disc in years but on the latest ImgBurn or Nero it "SHOULD" automatically know what size CD-R it is.

Re: Cheap working 99min banana cds are on AliExpress
understand.
I haven't received this disc yet, so I don't know exactly how it will appear on img burn, whether it will have its size automatically recognized or not. I was left with this doubt, as I had read in previous forums that it is necessary to put the overburn for him to recognize, but as they were very old forums, this information may be well out of date.
I intend to use this 99min disk especially for shenmue, and shenmue 2. The versions I found for 80min CDs left me disappointed. some without the dubbing of the npc, only in the cut-scenes, others with dubbing, but without sound effects of the game. There is also the version with the full English dubbing (from xbox) for the dc, but unfortunately the audio was very compressed due to the little space available on the disc, so the sound gets too bad, and some lines overlap with others. So I thought about using a 99min version that I found to have more quality in the game.

Does anyone know where to find those magical 1.3GB DDCD's? A reliable source of those disks should solve the whole problem with having to scale games back to 800mb or less.

doing a quick search on the subject, I believe that this type of disc will not do, it does not seem to have an audio resource, as the wikipedia informs, needs a specific recorder, and thinking here, maybe the dreamcast does not support its reading

Well, it was worth a shot. I guess 870 is still quite a lot of memory to play around with as far as game dev goes.brunovieira90 wrote:McGaffryson wrote:Does anyone know where to find those magical 1.3GB DDCD's?
