Does anyone here, know the texture size used for VF4 models? And the number of bones used for the characters in VF4.

Yeah, I had that same suspicion, it might either be 40 or 50 bones, but 40 sounds right too. :geek:

Hmmm. Maybe if we were to find out, the number of bones and the texture sizes, used for dreamcast Soul Calibur characters, that might give us more info too. Anyway, good estimate Roareye. :geek:

Looks can be deceptive. I had extracted Sakura from card captor Sakura and she ranges from 5000 to 6500 polygons with like 200 to 400 bones. Or the summons from despiria and they range from 700 to like 2000 triangles with like 100 to 300 bones. It's really going to depend game from game depending what they want to accomplish.

Yeah true. It does vary from game to game, or game genre.

But wow! That's alot of polys and bones. 200 to 400 bones in Sakura? I wasn't expecting it to be that much. Thanks for that Sakura and Despiria info. Is it the Cardcaptor Sakura: Tomoyo no Video Daisakusen, aka Card Captor Sakura: Tomoyo's Video Campaign, game you were speaking about?
