I can try to Cosmo my pvr encoder too if you need one.
It should be fairly simple to use

@mrneo240 please take a look at this branch
https://github.com/sonik-br/GDMENUCardM ... e/openMenu

It's up to date with your modifications and mine too.
If you want to merge the changes.

You forgot the most important part: Cross the fingers and pray!

:D

But yeah it should be simple to merge.

Most significant change is that I moved all menu files to a sub folder. I'm preparing to support multiple menus in the app.

openMenu data now goes into "openMenu" sub folder. It's already handle by the app.

tools/openMenu/menu_data
tools/openMenu/menu_gdi
tools/openMenu/IP.BIN

UPDATE: Got it working with the forked v1.3.3 release with the latest alpha 3 binary and DAT files.

Is it a requirement to use this release?

Latest GDMENUCardManager Release:
https://github.com/mrneo240/GDMENUCardManager/releases

I was using v1.3.5 of Card Manager and manually copied over the very latest files of openmenu and could not get a working SD Card - boots to black screen.

So I tried to make a working CDI - same result.

Anyway, cool project. I can see why people are attracted to this - gamers love slick interfaces in the world of Retro.

Just updated my 2015 GDEMU firmware to try this today! Very nice work! Thank you! I just wish you could use the 0GDTEX.PVR (like GDmenu) for random releases with no cover art, instead of the default image. But very cool!

Indeed, true. The above would need to be implemented to be a full-featured menu system or crowd-sourcing for the cover art or the ability to make your own auxiliary DAT file. Otherwise, it's best with retail gd-rom titles.
