Is the game really broken if it works on the intended hardware it was made for??

Not broken for the technology it was tested on.

Broken for later technology. No other VGA title has this issue.

I'm confident if we had the source code, it could be fixed.

Yeah for sure If you get the right modern tech as mrneo240 show it works as well.. Getting the src code = pigs flying Even if we did we cant compile it and release it.. If the game is very important to you there is options in the real world as shown to play it correct

This converter works with Hydro Thunder VGA - it's what I use.

Unfortunately, it's a discontinued product.

By the looks of the Atlona it doesn't add sound to the HDMI output. Can you confirm whether or not you get audio out of the HDMI output or not, please? Thanks man.

It does, but with the standard Dreamcast VGA cable you'll need to use a small audio adapter (rca female to 3.5mm male - stereo).

this is the case for the official discs as well as any CDI made from the launch version. the HOT NEW version has VGA support and the original does not. one disc is reddish in color and other is blue or greenish? I have owned both in the past though.
