Trouble adding DLC to VMU for redream

Post by Neph101 »

Hello! If anyone can help tell me what to do next that would be appreciated!
I have the DLC for sonic adventure 2 downloaded, both the vmi and vms.
I used writer to open the vmi and read the VM file name, renamed the vms to it.
But Im not sure what to do now to add the files into the emulator or a VMU.

I can't help you in detail but as far as I know Emulators usually use one file per VMU. So you'll have to import your VMS files into the VMU file. AFAIK Demul or some older emulator does support this feature. No idea about Flycast.

EDIT: Since flycast does support the modem you could also use it with one of the dreamcast browsers in order to download said dlc directly to the VMU you are using in flycast.
