Show us what is returned.

It may be ttyS0 or ttyS1

No voice Conexant SoftModem (actualy is voice, but linux driver dont support, windows does)

Custom Script, uses 1 ATA to act as tone noise "like" and another to actual connection. If enabled, Blind dial games dont even need that tone sound.

Dial some seconds after first ATA
Full speed.

Hello there. First off I wanna say thank you very much for coming up with this pi alternative. Honestly its saving me a lot of money. Now the only problem I have is that the dreamcast will not connect as I get the no answer error. On the virtual box it always stops after this point and nothing happens and my modem lights turn off. I use a zoom 56k modem and the line voltage inducer has been tested to work

Seems like missing a "CONNECT" after the "ATA"

Can be a problem when the python code keep trying to get the usb modem response from log.

Make sure your Dreamcast modem Init config is default. Right before blind dial option on planet web modem config page.

It actually is and still will not function. In the time that I had posted this I have decided to exchange my zoom modem for dell modems to see if that will work. I was reading the zoom modem kind of sucks

You checkt the Dreamcast IP?

Which Number calls the Dreamcast? 111-1111?

And how you know, that your lvi is working right?

Is you Dreamcast directly erroring after 2-3 seconds dialing or after 20 seconds or some else?

Cause, i think, you lvi is not working. You have a ntsc modem or pal modem on the dreamcat? (Or which console you using?)

If you put out the modem cable from the console, if it the same error like before? If yes, then your lvi is not working, i think.

so the number my dreamcast calls is the right one 111-1111.
I concluded that the line voltage inducer works from the guide posted on dreamcast live which tells me to test with a multi meter.

My dream cast will give me the error like 20 seconds in

sometimes the scrip itself randomly throws out an error instead of connect ever sense I got the dell modem

Brand new error pops up ever since I started to use the dell modem so I am getting more conclusions. The script stops after pictured error pops up but it leaves the dreamcast stuck dialing
