Really nice. I can´t wait until we (I & my fiancé), move in to another department (just 1 month left now), so there will be a space for my arcade machine with MVS Jamma board, but I will put in a computer in it, so I can use Mame/PC-shooters and to connect my metal dance pads for some StepMania.

I have like you, had my arcade machine in a garage and in a food cellar, so I haven´t been able to use the machine for like 5-6 years now, so I´m very excited. So, I´m glad for you, for me and for us :)

I will post pics here on my setup when it´s ready.

That would be great!

Show us the pics when you get everything worked out. ;)

***WARNING PLENTY OF PICS***

Before my arcade machin looked like this:

Well, now I'm middle of everything, so everything is like a hell of mess.

This is the control panel. What I'm doing with this is to plug two holes out of four for each player because I want to drill the holes tighter to each others so I can make space for 6 buttons to each player, and I will switch out the buttons and the joysticks. Maybe I will paint the panel, but not now.

This will be my game room:

I have undressed the machin pretty well.

Here are the speakers I will use.

Here are the light bulbs that will light up the plate.

Looks good but I don't know why you're still using that old CRT monitor. You should've just gutted the box and installed a PC with LCD monitor.

I prefer low-res over high-res and just look at this:

Image

You can see every single pixel, one by one.

But sure, I may build one high-res arcade in the future, but not now.

I will do some more setups with the monitor, right now the color yellow is to strong, so white color turns to yellow. Maybe I will purchase in a J-pac next month to get a better picture.
We will see.

Today I will focus on the sms emulator to work fine and in native resolution.
