My Sega Dreamcast froze while online trying to browsing the internet with ProtoWeb Proxy.

I do not know if my Dreamcast modem got damaged by turning off my Dreamcast while connected online, because my Dreamcast Planetweb Browser suddenly freezed during my Dreamcast DreamPi online connection active while attempting to use a new proxy called ProtoWeb a.k.a Way Back Machine proxy. I don’t know if my Dreamcast modem (not my DreamPi) got damaged when I turned off my Dreamcast console while online. I don’t know what happens when I turn off my Dreamcast while still logged on to the internet. If my Dreamcast modem got damaged, I don’t have that kind of money to buy a replacement modem and I don’t know how to fix or troubleshoot my modem or maybe it’s the phone line cable. Can you people help me what happens when turning off the Dreamcast while modem connected to the internet situation?

Nothing happens I always hated the browsing controls so would pop the lid and back on Dreamcast BIOS

Besides when made they're of course with power outages in mind

It doesn't hurt the system. I do it all the time. Sega designed the console to be shut off at anytime, they take all situations in to account

What I do know is connecting to Alien Front if you don't get the '33.6kbps speed' something something along those lines that it's even lesser that is when it's on the fritz
