Some dreamcast games wont start on terraonion MODE

Without the need to open a new topic, I ask for help about other games. Since I read the list of all non functoning NTSC USA games on the RGB, I tried them all.

Basically what I did, is to use the PAL version of theese games, and most of them work very well, even in 50hz (without the black bars).

But for some specifics PAL games, it seems that the screen center is oushed down, resulting in quarter of screen cutted, very strange.

Those PAL games are: Trickstyle, Rainbowsix Rogue Spear
There is a third game witch doesn't work both in PAL and USA version, wich is San Francisco Rush.

Can you guys help me making theese 3 games work properly in NTSC or PAL if possible?

Note that you will need something like 7zip or WinRAR to extract the .001 file, which will then extract ALL of the files to produce the CDI you need to patch.

Nice find, ateam! Looks like cdromance has the unpatched cdi version as I see complaints.

Okay Tackskull, try this GDI and see if it boots for you. It appears the region protection is definitely stripped, based on my emulator tests.

However, if this game has RGB issues, then this patch does nothing to address that.

ateam you are awesome, thank you so much, both san francisco rush and rimbow six work very well in GDI format on my japanese dreamcast.

If you can do the same with Trickstyle basically all the library can be played on a japanese RGB dreamcast, and I will much appreciate.

Happy to hear it! Unfortunately I can't find anything in the old scene releases for Trickstyle that indicates any type of region or RGB fix, but you can try downloading all of the CDIs here (just search "trickstyle") to see if any happen to work for you. There's a few!
