Indeed. Just because you own the PC game, doesn't make it legal to use the assets elsewhere (read the Installer License Agreement). Probably 0.0% of the builds are actually legal - unless of course you have permission from the publisher.pcwzrd13 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 31, 2024 7:46 am Guys, please don't post links to pre-built images of the game. The devs are trying hard not to get into legal trouble and we don't want the forum to get taken down either. Dreamcast games are one thing but GTA3 is a game that is actively being sold and posting assets ripped directly from said game is a big no no.

Are there specific settings to get gta3 to run on retrodream through the serial port? I can't get the game to launch. Gets stuck on executing.

Try loader 14.
Else update to new dreamshell version 4.1, that's really fantastic.

I've been trying my hand at making a little artwork for the PAL style cases for when a disc version is created

Super informative, including the past legal issues with the publisher. Everyone should view this one!

OS Homebrew.
Sync 16
That stuff with numbers should be the with CFE004000 or something similar.
By the way, i´m running it also on Serial Port, working well, the slowdowns are bearable. But i´m not able to load a previously saved game, it saves, i put a blank legit VMU just for the game, it apparently saves normally, blocks are taking space on the VMU, but when it gets the moment to load the game, it crashes. Anyone here has been able to load successfully. I don´t have the latest dreamshell i guess, i have the 4.0 burned disc, boot loader 2.6 and SD Loader 0.60.
