Help with Router Ports

Post by Radkin »

I need to know what ports are needed to open for the following games.

1.) Max Pool
2.) StarLancer
3.) 4x4 Evolution

We need to know this because of our PC-DC server. Thank youu.

Hey sorry I think i made a mistake when i told dobbs you needed to forward ports for DC for those games. That was back when i used win 98 for my pcdc server. On which you were supposed to forward specific ports through winroute. My bad lol. It should just connect so try it out.

Post Review didn't work  . I'll leave this here just in case.

I would just open every port, 1-65535 TCP and UDP.

4x4 is 7000-9000.
I haven't seen anything for Max pool.
Starlancer is 2300-2400, 6900-7500, 47542.

That's from the Windows 98 guide on OC.

I don't think I ever had any luck with opening the ports individually. I would try putting the Dreamcast on DMZ (which is suppose to open all ports).

I do them individually and they work fine but you have linux server you don't need to port forward.

I just port forwarded all of the ports listed on OC to my PC-DC server.

So far I have been online with PSO and XDP. I failed trying 4x4, but I am gonna look more into that (I could use a little help here). I will be trying Max Pool next.

If you can't connect to the master server on 4x4 or starlancer a lot of people can't. I can't either. Seems to be an isp issue. For 4x4 though after it times out on trying to connect to the masterlist you can direct ip conect. I did that with teamxlink and it worked great. Starlancer may work for you but it is hit and miss.
