Hi I wanna download a save file from gamefaqs, I just don't know how I'm supposed to get it into the VMU

Or you could get a Coder's Cable + Speud's VMU Tool.
Since the Cables have been getting kinda rare and expensive lately, you might wanna stick with the Nexus card mazonemayu posted.
Depending on hooooooooow much you want the save, you could also reburn VMU Tool, including the savefile you downloaded. The tutorial on that is here. It's a tad technical, but at least it doesn't cost anything.
