so.... I was right in other words? thats what I meant, you have to learn all its skills etc. Also though, I could be getting slightly mixed up with Legacy Of Kain Defiance for xbox, which I'm sure definitely has upgrades you have to get or access for the Reaver... also I could be losing it lol

In a way, I kind of feel that Soul Reaver compensates for the fact that Castlevania was canned for the Dreamcast. We needed more games like this...

Open ended adventure RPG's.

Here here, definitely could've done with more 3rd person long story driven adventures, I personally quite like Dragons Blood for one example, and Sword of the Berserk, but none of those quite hit the level of quality SR seems to set

I agree, but lets not forget ShadowMan, its very similar to SR & a far bigger game. I think I spent 50 hours or so on completing it

you and your shadowman! I know you love it, It just never grabbed me. I did really enjoy The Nomad Soul for what it was for a little while, but I started to get bored. Did anyone ever finish that?

u kiddin me? That game is awesome!! I admit I was probably a little blinkered as it was my joint first ever dc game, along with Sonic, I got SA and BS both on release and completed Blue Stinger eventually, such a quality little game and the money etc you got from enemies, I thought that was genius. Loved some of the weapons too
