Wouldn't the integrity of the disc be at risk from such long exposure to that stuff???
Thought goo gone was some heafty stuff in its own right.
I wouldn't think so. Not exactly sure what's in it but according to the bottle, it's citrus based. I doubt anything in it is harmful enough to crack a disc. I read on another forum that someone was able to remove the disc shield by soaking the disc in Goo Gone for 24 hours. I only had it in there for half that.
Edit: Looks like I may be wrong. I found another case of Goo Gone cracking discs. Bummer. Link
Well here's hoping you find a disc only CT2 out there (although it may not be as easy as the first one. I don't even recall if the sequel was as hype as the first CT).

You should check around locally at pawn shops and flea markets. I do most of my shopping that way but Crazy Taxi 2 is actually a pretty common find on my trips (was at a game store today where I picked up Fighters Mega-Mix and an import boot cartridge for my Saturn and I saw two copies in the Dreamcast bin for example).
Ahhh, that's a damn shame. There's something so sweet about finding the game you were looking for in a pile of rubbage even if it is about the same price as you can get it online!
The first Crazy Taxi is definitely my favorite. The level design of the arcade level is perfection. Music wise, I feel an Offspring exclusive soundtrack is a bit much in the second one. Also, jumping, while not as irksome as I originally held it to be the first time I played Crazy Taxi 2, just doesn't sit well with me. With that said, Crazy Pyramid made good use of the feature.
I prefer the first one by far, i have spent a lot of time on it. but i think it's because it was new and fun at the time.
The 2nd game is very good too, but it lack of novelty. The game become quickly boring, especially for those who pass a lot of hours on the first one. There is no "wahouu !" effect anymore.
And for the third one on Xbox the problem is the same but worse, despite the fact that the game has the most content of the trilogy.
This saga has not been able to renew itself. That's too bad because it had a good potential.
I just got myself a mc2 racing wheel I was super stoked cause I kept hearing nothing but good things about its quality and feel. My main reason I got...
