Sonic Adventure 2 - Cannon's Core bug
When I reached the final level of Sonic Adventure 2, Cannon's Core, I had an odd bug happen to me. Right after I finished Tails' segment of the level, and it switched to Eggman's segment, while he said "Alright, now it's my turn!", he fell through the floor of the level and died instantly. I tried this level several times and it always seems to happen. I tried looking into it online, and from what I gathered, some of the original SA2 discs were defective, and had this glitch in them when they were first made. Is there any way to work around this glitch? Or am I screwed, and will have to get another copy of SA2 to finish the game?

- Dreamcast Games you play Online: Phantasy Star Online V.2; Starlancer; Maximum Pool; 4x4 Evolution; in the future Quake 3.
I had the same glitch whenever I played this game on an emulator. You are not screwed, there are two ways to make skip the glitch. You can use Eggman hover ability and fly as soon as you get in the stage, or (if there is no other way) search for the DCres release of Sonic Adventure 2 and burn it.
It's really strange that you are having this glitch in a real Dreamcast, It usually happens on emulators...

I don't know if it would effect anything as far as the glitch goes, but I was playing the NSTC-J version on a PAL Dreamcast using a boot disk. I'm guessing it wasn't too common with the official release as I couldn't find much about it online other than a GameFAQs document telling me I needed another copy of the game!
