Need a boot disc thats VGA compatibale please

Ive tried Utopia but its not vga compatible.
Ive tried unplugging the vga but at the best I get sound and no video after i plug it back in.

Ive tried codebreaker and codebraker loader iso but i must not be doing it right cause i put on on one disc and the other on a second but neither read. The loader reads nd goes back to the home screen while the codebreaker disc just says please insert disc.

I just want to play shenmue 2 PAL on my dreamcast lol. I might just have to settle for playing it on my av cables with utopia BUT i was hoping someone knew of something I could download to utilize my VGA.

Any chance DC-X is an iso somewhere or something of the like?

some bootdisks aren't vga compatible, but this should pose no problem; put the bootdisk in your dc, fire it up & take the bootdisk out once it has stopped spinning (you should hear this ), put your DC game in the console & close the lid; if the game is vga compatible it should boot just fine.

I always use dc-x myself, and when you start the console, the screen just stays black, but once I swap the disks, the game boots in vga

ive tried what you said and like many others have said it doesnt work.
If you dont unplug the VGA it will tell you Utopia doesnt use the A/v setup.

If you unplug the VGA and just go blindly It either wont have picture or sound,or i get a black screen though audio works. its spotty at best to even get audio. I was hoping for a boot disc that I didnt need to unplug the vga.

I would love to buy DC-x but cant find it anywhere now. a reason i was hoping it was downloadable somewhere

so i did some more searching and found the DC-X iso. turns out Shenmue 2 doesnt load with VGA compatibility along with another game (dont remember) so that didnt work. Thankfully i found the iso before buying.

What did work was Action Replay for the dreamcast.
I can now boot up Shenmue 2 PAL with VGA compatibility
