im not a computer guru by any means but i have watched enough "24" episodes to know that encryption would make bringing it online a very hard task.petter3k wrote:Actually that is not quite correct. But not all hope is lost regarding online play, our talented fellow member petter3k might be able to resurrect this title somewhere down the road.
AFAIK Propeller Arena also uses encryption, while Outtrigger does not.

Thanks for the clarification petter3k and my apologies for the incorrect information guys :O Hopefully the encryption is something that can be worked around with.

Re: PROPELLER ARENA
The reason it was cancelled is because it had a level called Tower City or something akin to that, in a city with skyscrapers. They didn't release it due to that. All they had to do was remove that level and make a completely new one for the game, but they just didn't since it was a very sensitive time. This was the same reason USA never got an official light gun from Sega because of the Columbine massacre. I don't agree with either of those reasons but I understand fully why they did it.

Re: PROPELLER ARENA
Bringing it back is indeed alot harder with the encryption present. Hopefully, one day it will become online againCharlton wrote:im not a computer guru by any means but i have watched enough "24" episodes to know that encryption would make bringing it online a very hard task.petter3k wrote:Actually that is not quite correct.
