DreamPi 1.4 Help!

Post by itsthinkingstill »

So i just got my Pi 3 Model B and i hooked it up by fowling pcwizards tutorial and it says there is no answer to this number. I know the line voltage is not the problem because i can use my pc-dc server all day regardless of which type modem i use. The modem connected to the Pi is a dell Conexant RD02-D400. it seems that both lights do light up so im wondering if for the new Dream Pi 1.4 do i need a different number? Thanks!

Probably just a coincidence that it's working now because only very old versions of DreamPi required you to dial 555. The requirement to dial that specific number was removed pre version 1.0 and now it will answer any number that's dialed. DreamPi doesn't require a specific username or password either.
