Sorry for asking this noob question,
What does truncated mean? And is this gdi same same quality as a "real" gdi ?

Re: Cannon Spike [GDEMU]
Another game that is online in Japan. I've still yet to properly play this, but it's amazing that a 3D title is this low on used memory.
TRUNCATED: I'll be corrected if I'm wrong, but essentially most DC games were smaller than the GD-ROM's 1.10GB of storage space, so in order to fill in the rest there would be essentially junk data written into the remaining space.
If a game was only 250MB, and had to fill a 1.10GB disc, then the game would be 250MB but the disc would be literally full with junk data. The reasons for this are numerous, including issues with people burning additional data to a disc with space remaining, there would be a distinct colour difference between the burnt and unused sectors of the CD (visually, underside of the disc) etc. By filling this space with junk data, it would essentially keep them visually consistent and prevent the writing of further data.
