Yes, it's planned. I've been working on a bunch of stuff like the infrastructure for that and doing proper in-game text/UI with the VMU (and keeping my profiler on another controller port or optional via a menu item).

This is an issue. It makes cheesing certain missions very difficult. Apparently it's a symptom of re3 and is present in Vice City as well.
I hope the developers are also planning to port Vice City

That stuff with numbers should be the with CFE004000 or something similar.

By the way, i´m running it also on Serial Port, working well, the slowdowns are bearable. But i´m not able to load a previously saved game, it saves, i put a blank legit VMU just for the game, it apparently saves normally, blocks are taking space on the VMU, but when it gets the moment to load the game, it crashes. Anyone here has been able to load successfully. I don´t have the latest dreamshell i guess, i have the 4.0 burned disc, boot loader 2.6 and SD Loader 0.60.
Use latest DreamShell versions (4.0.0 Release or 4.0.1 Release) and reduce Emu async value to 4 for more smooth gameplay.

Thanks for your answers! Sorry i don´t enter here too often. So, i´ve been using the latest DS 4.0.1 with 0.8 loader, tried with Async 4, homebrew, 0x8c004000. Also tried with DMA activated, and just keep getting random crashes on GTA 3. And now, all Atomiswave games doesnt boot, found out a solution in which gotta put the loader 0.6 there, but i cant find that loader online. In other hand, the newer Doom 64 with bump mapping and vertex lighting works like a charm, and also some retail dc games like alone in the dark, DOA 2 and dino crisis work perfectly well. I´ve formatted the SD card twice, and still not sure what to do. I play of course through Serial port. Or maybe chaning the SD to a Class 10 could help? I´m using an old 16 GB SD which i´ve used since years ago without any major issue.

The latest have been fog optimization and rendering. The DC version fog now resembles ps2 fog. And i think the DC controller graphic is part of main now.

i cant get dreamSDK to download from GITHUB i only see on the bottom of the page the SDK R3 setup iso? is that what i need? what program do i open it with my CPU does not know. I purchased the GTA3 from rockstar and want to make a CDI but found a CDI someone made online in the archives.....that one is old and freezes on the car crasher stuff (been playing the game a few weeks. HATE the radio situation but GTA 2 was like that too so im not crying...) Im trying to make the latest and greatest CDI but am having issues even starting.....
